I just got the 16 almost a week ago and I’m struggling to get my text notifications.
My ringer is on and volume is up. I get the noise when my phone is on and I’ll get phone calls.
But my phone does not vibrate or make the note sound when off
ive checked all my settings and all notifications and sounds are on. It’s honestly frustrating me. What do I do?

Then something was wrong with your previous phone. When wearing Apple Watch and your iPhone screen is NOT open, notifications are delivered to your watch, not your iPhone. If your iPhone screen is open, notifications will be delivered to your phone. Notifications are NOT delivered to both at the same time, by design. And it has been this way since the very first Apple Watch.
There is nothing wrong with your phone. It is doing what it's supposed to do.
