iPhone 16 Pro Max - Camera Fault (Pink spot and line)

Received my iPhone 16 pro max earlier today and on opening up the camera app, noticed a bright pink dot on the main lens (x1 zoom) which shows on screen and photos themselves.

Contacted apple support who ran the hardware diagnostics which didn't flag any physical faults

Forced reboots and normal reboots don't resolve. Other apps which use the camera also exhibit the same issue.

Happens both in photos and video, but not on zoom (0.5, 2 & 5)

Have an appointment booked later today with an apple store for either a repair or replacement

Anyone else seen this?
