Camara IPhone 16 Pro delivers only 2048 x 1536 pixels pictures

And yes I've been in Settings > Camera > Formats, ProRAW and Resolution Control, HEIF Max and also ProRAW (12 till 48MP).

What am I missing? Until now my camera on the iPhone 11 was better (4032 x 3024 pixels).

Are you using Shared Albums to transfer the photos to your PC? Shared albums are limiting the pixel size of the photos to 2048 at the longest edge, just like other methods of sharing.

The best way to transfer your photos losslessly would be iCloud Photos, but you would probably need subscription for more cloud storage.

Update: nothing wrong with my camera on the iPhone. After somebody at Amac (yes, Apple specialist) convinced that it can be done and pointing me in the right direction. I found that if I download I get it in the tiny resolution, but when I download with more download options (meer downloadopties...) I get my photo's in the right resolution (Unchanged originals - Ongewijzigde originelen).

Now I download the pictures one by one. Sigh, odd, but I get them anyway.

You’re still only getting about 36 MP. You’re taking stills with your shooting ratio set to 16:9. If you want 48 MP, set the ratio to 4:3 and crop your image to the composition desired.

LR should be able to directly import via USB-C cable. But I don’t know PC’s well enough to tell you exactly where to change your LR import settings.

You’re going to have issues. I haven’t used LR 6 in almost 10 years. My first advice would be to bite the bullet and pay $10 a month and make your life 100 times easier.

Second advice, follow the posts of the frequent contributors here. They use Apple Photos, but not me. I started using LR in 2010 and haven’t looked back. I’m a certified Adobe instructor, but nowhere near the advanced Photos app users you have here. Happy to diagnose camera issues and Lightroom issues though.
