My iPad Air M2 doesn’t charge my pencil wirelessly

I just recently bought a iPad Air M2 11 inch variant and with it I’m using a kingone pencil gen-2. The pencil works great but the iPad doesn’t charge it wirelessly. I already checked the pencil with another iPad where the same pencil charge wirelessly but not charged with my iPad. Please suggest a solution to resolve this problem.

Your iPad Air M2, along with the iPad Pro M4, have relocated the front facing camera to the internal cavity that was previously occupied by the Pencil's inductive charging system. As a consequence, the charging system for the Pencil has been redesigned/relocated - the compatible Apple Pencils that the iPad supports reflecting this design change..

Third-party Pencil alternatives, unless specifically designed to work with the iPad Air M2 and iPad Pro M4, are unlikely to be compatible with these newer models of iPad.

The second generation Apple Pencil, that incorporates inductive charging, also cannot be used with the Air M2, Pro M4 or new mini A17 Pro. These models support the 2024 Apple Pencil Pro (that uses the modified inductive charging system) or the low cost Apple USB-C Pencil, the latter requiring a wired connection to both pair and charge the Pencil with the host iPad.

In conclusion, your third-party "kingone" Pencil is unlikely to be compatible with your iPad.
