Is there a way to add an automated date to a document in pages on an IPad?

I have a document that is tracking a medical history and I want to have it capture the updated date for the information automatically. Is there a way to do this in pages on an IPad? I cannot find any answer in the help file.

Thanks

iPad Pro, iPadOS 18

You can insert your preference for date/time into a Pages v14.2 for iPadOS document from the floating panel at the bottom of the document. That chronology will not automatically update to the current date/time upon reopening the previously saved document. However, if you single-tap on that date/time, there is a secondary menu option to Set to Now which does what you expect.

Until Apple releases an updated version of Pages, the ability to use the table function now() is unavailable as Pages v14.2 ignores the '=' character that is the ordinary trigger of a table formula insertion.
