Internal Camera not recognized on Sequoia 15.1

When I updated to Sequoia 15.1, the internal camera on my MacBook Pro M1 2020 stopped being recognized by the system. The camera does not appear in the system information "camera" tab, FaceTime displays a "To use FaceTime, connect a camera" message, and upon running Apple Diagnostics, I received an NDC001 Reference Code. Apple support's suggestion was to take the computer into a physical location to be checked (which I plan on doing), but I doubt it is a hardware issue given that it stopped working after I performed a system update to the new operating system which allows for the Handoff functionality. I followed Apple's steps to attempt to fix camera issues, including an SMC reset, to no avail. Is this a known issue?

Hardware, including the Builtin Camera can fail at any time.

It is not necessary related to the upgrade or update

Usually, when System Information reports the Camera is not present

That and the AHT reporting what it has

This would confirm a Hardware Failure - Camera
