iPad heats up when taking notes on Apple Notes and Goodnotes

I am experiencing a consistent issue with my recently bought iPad Air 11 (latest OS version) overheating when using Apple Notes and Goodnotes. The device heats up noticeably, even with moderate usage, and this affects both battery performance and user experience. I suspect it’s the problem with my Apple Pencil pro not completely sure about that.

I have already tried reducing screen brightness, closing background apps, and updating the software, but the problem persists. Given that note-taking is one of the primary uses of my iPad, this is a significant concern.
