Crashed my pdf in books app and not able to opan

I am writing to seek assistance regarding an issue I am facing with the Books app on my iPad.

I recently attempted to open a PDF file for my upcoming exam, but unfortunately, the file appears to be corrupted or crashed, and I am unable to access it. This is quite concerning as the document is essential for my studies.

Could you please provide guidance on how to resolve this issue?

Books might not be the most suitable app for handling PDFs, especially if the file is large or complex. However, the PDF may still be accessible in other apps. You can try opening it with other apps to see if they handle it better, as they might offer better compatibility and stability.

Since you're using an iPad, you can try opening the PDF in the Files app directly. It works well for basic viewing, and it might be enough to see if the file opens properly. However, if you need more advanced features, or if the file still won’t open, you can try using third-party PDF editors, which could help with handling the file or offering additional tools for reviewing or marking up your study materials.
