Unable to receive money on Apple Pay

Why does my Apple Pay have a restricted account status? Why am I unable to receive money in my Apple Pay and only allowed to spend the balance?

It’s not Apple Pay that is restricted, it’s your Apple Cash account. It sounds like you might be facing an identity verification issue. That’s that most common reason that an Apple Cash account is restricted.Please review the support articles I linked to below.
