iPhone 14Pro heats up while charging from day one of purchase.

my iphone 14pro heats up while charging every single time from day one of purchase. As it is plugged in charge it starts heating till the battery level reaches 70% and after that it automatically cools down to normal on further charging. I have tried system updates and all usual things told by service center personnel, but nothing works. Warm means unusually warm like you can't hold it in hands.

iPhone 14 Pro, iOS 18

Are you sure it's stopping at 70%? If you have Optimized Battery Charing enabled, it's more common for it stop at 80%, display the message charging will resume when the battery is cooler and that is ALL normal. If you are fast charging your iPhone, the law of physics dictates battery generate heat. That too is completely normal. Your phone will heat less if you charge it slower, but the notification you are seeing is not indicative of a battery or charging issue.

Just as when you use your phone for battery intensive activities, like playing games, streaming video/music, using the camera, heat is generated. It is the natural chemical reactions involved in charging and discharging.
