MacBook battery capacity

Dear Team, I really need your advice!

I have two external monitors connected to my MacBook via a special hub (for a year now). For the whole of this year, I had one 24“ Dell and a 14” monitor connected. Then, a week ago, I replaced the “little one” with a second 24” Dell. So, my battery was 100% for the whole year, and this week it went down to 96%. And I'm a little shocked, to be honest!

I don't know what to do!

I want to know if I'm ruining it this way. Or what am I doing wrong?

It is normal for a battery to lose maximum capacity over time. Batteries are a consumable item like car tires. Apple considers a battery ‘healthy’ if it has >80% of its original capacity.

Thanks so much for the reply!

I was just confused that this process started so immediately and amounted to 4% within a week, even though I followed all the official recommendations regarding the accumulator from the beginning.
