M3 MacBook Pro screen flickering and graphical errors

I have a refurbished Nov. 2023 16" MBP with the M3 Max chip.

Anyone know what is causing the issues shown in the photos below?

Sometimes the screen flickers, sometimes the display "freezes" for a moment, but the one way I can replicate errors consistently is by creating new files in Finder. Files get superimposed over one another before settling into place, weird white spaces appear...

Apple has tried to fix this three times. They reset the computer to factory twice, and then they for some reason decided to change the lid angle sensor to address "System Startup/Stability/Will Not Wake from Sleep." Don't know why they did that as it never had a problem waking from sleep or anything to do with that, and nothing about that was ever mentioned. Anyone know what's going on so when I contact them next time they might be able to fix it?
