mac notes showing unwanted collapsible arrows

hi all!

i have this problem: my mac notes keep showing unwanted collapsible arrows,

despite my not creating any headings!

this is troublesome because i accidentally click them up and then i dont notice many important items as i go through my day!

please help, perhaps even any way to disable this entirely?

Notes app is not showing text editor when a note is selected I've recently updated my 2021 Macbook Pro M1 Max to Sequoia 15.0.1. After the update, my Notes App will not show the text editor when I click on a note — usually it would display it as a column to the right of the list of notes. The only way I'm able to bring up a text editor is to double click the note. So far, I have: Adjusted column widths and app display options (list vs grid, sidebar on/off, etc.) Quit and restarted the app Rebooted the computer Deselected Notes syncing in my iCloud and rebooted I'm attaching a screenshot so you can see what I mean — I don't have any notes, because I still have them unsynced on this machine as I try to troubleshoot. Can't see notes pages, only list After upgrading to Sequoia, I can no longer see the texts of the notes, only their titles (they have been blurred for privacy reasons but they are legible) and I am forced to double-click on the list to open them in a separate window. And no, I don't want that. If I try to enlarge the window I don't go beyond the width of the previous attached image, while if I click on the green button it opens the application in full screen and the notes field appears, but completely black. Also, when I took the screenshot of this screen with the black field, opening it in Photoshop it actually turned out to be transparent, as showed in this image. macOS Sequoia 15.2 Mac Studio 2022 Apple M1 Max 32GB RAM

Notes is jumping around after the recent system update to my MacBook Pro After the new update, My Notes app in Macbook Pro started jumping around whenever I try to edit anything, I think there needs to be an update to either the app or the overall system. Is anyone else experiencing this issue?
