After update to 18.1.1 the Face ID stop working on my iPhone 13 Pro Max. I have reset it and I’m trying set up it again but instead of coming up a circle it’s coming up a square asking the put your face on the frame and nothing happens. Can you help me.
I took my phone out of its protective case, and I was able to setup face ID. It's worth trying that.
Yes, exactly same problem. Looking for solution. It’s so inconvenient to have flagman verse of the phone and such a problem.

I have an iPhone 12 Pro. Sience, 18.1.1 FaceID is not working. Apple Software Support said Hardware is working. Today, I was in an Apple Store. They said I have to replace the true deepth camera.
We did two resets. It‘s still not working
Try turning off the “iPhone unlock” option under “Facebook ID & Passcode” then turn on agan after a reset. It worked for me.

I tried it didnt work, it is Face Id and Passcode and not facebook ID lol
Update, a few days ago I tried the same process again and it worked and the volume was able to be controlled. Not sure what changed, but something did and it now works like before the update
iPhone 16 pro user. Face ID randomly stopped working after IOS 18.2 update. Nothing suggested worked until I tried this suggestions. It worked.
This is what finally worked for me after iOS 18.2 update stopped Face ID from working.
