Received loud emergency alert sounds from my apple watch and phone, but there was no emergency. The message said: Open oven.
What can I do to prevent this again? I did not set any timed alerts.

I don't know the brand of the oven you have, so unable to provide any specifics. If you have never downloaded the app, then they have your phone number to send you those text messages that also include an alert tone. Not sure if that was part of a setup process or product registration, but you will have to consult the owners manual to make any changes.
The obvious question is do you have one of the many smart ovens that use their own app to manage the device?

It's sneaky that way.
Yes we have a smart range/oven but have never downloaded the app. It is not currently on my Iphone. If you have recommendations, please let me know.
