Magsafe Wallet not compatible with IPhone 16 Pro

My leather Magsafe Wallet—purchased in 2022—wasn't 'sticking' properly to my new iPhone 16 Pro.

It also doesn't fit quite right - the cards slightly touch/overlap the camera lens.

I (stupidly) didn't take it into an Apple store (busy job, no time), and it soon fell off and was lost (my cards were along with it). Apple support said they can't help, but this is definitely a design fault since a few people are describing the same problem. I think Apple Store should be transparent about this problem and ask people to check their phone's compatibility when they upgrade - and make sure they add the wallets to their new phone's 'Find My.' It was really poor service all around.
