Can't change Magic Trackpad settings

I've added a Magic Trackpad to my MacBook Pro set up. Ventura 13.3.1. I can control the settings of my built-in track pad but not the Magic Trackpad.

I've tried:

1) turning off and on my MacBook, my Magic Trackpad, and unpairing and repairing.

2)I've clicked Settings>Trackpad and played around. I've clicked Set Up Bluetooth Trackpad and then clicked the "i" next to the device, then clicked Trackpad Settings from there, which only loops me back to the built in trackpad settings.

3)I went into Accessibility>Pointer Control and there selected to "ignore built-in trackpad" and that hasn't worked either. If I select "Trackpad Options" there a window pops up, but none of the controls there affect the function of my Magic Trackpad.

The only way I can affect the settings of my Magic Trackpad are by clicking Mouse. By adjusting the Tracking Speed there I can affect the tracking speed of my Magic Trackpad. That's it.

I have all of the settings for my built-in trackpad just the way I like them. How do I get my Magic Trackpad to adopt those settings?

Thank you!

MacBook Air, macOS 13.3
