How to Recover Passwords Missing After iOS 18.1.1 Update?
Settings menu listing seems significantly truncated, and ‘Passwords’ is missing.
Can I still access them ?

This change in Passwords is ridiculous. They always make things more complicated rather than convenient. I still can't find it!
You aren't speaking with Apple. No one here made any changes. This is a user to user only forum and no one here works for Apple.
This change is in my opinion, one of the best changes Apple has made in a long time. Putting our passwords in an App, which we can place on our first page of apps or even in the dock, simplifies where to look for our passwords, by eliminating multiple steps we had to go through when they were in Settings.

It takes more steps now. You’re the only one who likes it, as this thread proves.
Nope. It doesn't and you know it doesn't.
Old Way:
Open your iPhone
Tap Settings App
Scan down to Keychain/Passwords
Tap there
Look for Passwords
New Way
Open your iPhone
Tap Passwords App (which you can conveniently place on your first page of apps or even in your dock)
Tap it
Look for Passwords
So, we'll wait for you to tell us how the new way takes more steps.
Put it wherever you want it. If you want to add more steps to something which could be simpler, that's up to you.
Arguing with me about whether you like it or don't like is a total waste of time. This is how Apple has chosen to implement passwords and that's that. Live with it or buy something else. Doesn't matter in the least to me.
Thank you!! It was driving me crazy. I didn't have to download it. Just said to open it. The icon was not visible before except on my Mac.
What happened to the passwords? Sometimes I need the passwords when I work on my computer and I used to be able to look them up on my phone! Why did this latest update remove them?!
The passwords will be automatically downloaded from iCloud to the Passwords app once you reinstall it. In the off chance they don’t, go to Settings > [your name] > iCloud > Passwords and turn on Sync this iPhone.
My passwords are gone from settings after upgrade to 18.1.1. I have an IPAD nit an iPhone. I have read I can get them back by reinstalling or something . I have no idea! Anyway what do I have to do? Reinstall the update or what! K

Finally found the email account passwords. UGH! Right where you would expect them. NOT in the new Passwords App as one would imagine, but it is in:
Settings>Apps>Contacts>Contact Accounts
Dang guys, why didn't we think of that? Now email accounts are Contacts. Awesome. Mystery Solved
Multiple people, myself included, have said we don’t want the Passwords app on our first page. That creates an additional step of sliding to the page where that app is located or searching for that app before opening it. Thanks for playing.
Sorry, I couldn't tell you. None of my passwords had notes.
I cannot find my passwords since 18.1.1 update
I cannot find my passwords since 18.1.1 update
Apple caused me a lot of anguish with this change... Why do Apple do these changes without any warning?
Only can not search thru & find a specific site pw like we used to.
All my passwords but 1 disappeared and did not come back after doing app. Cpl updates prior all my notes disappeared after an update.
