New magic trackpad is not scrolling or do any gestures

I bought a new Magic Trackpad, and it is connected via Bluetooth, but gestures are not working. I can only move the cursor with one finger and click; scrolling or other gestures do not function. I have enabled everything under Accessibility and Trackpad settings. Please advise.

Unable to perform gestures on Magic TrackPad Recently purchased a magic trackpad, but am unable to scroll or perform any other gestures on it. However am able to click using the trackpad. Currently on Sonoma 14.7.1 (M3 Chip) and unable to update to the latest version as the updates are controlled by my org. Faced a similar issue when connected to my personal mac(Intel Chip). However, I was able to upgrade to the latest version after which I am able to perform all the gestures using my trackpad. Seems like a similar issue to this - Magic Trackpad 1st generation not working… - Apple Community Has anyone faced similar issue with the magic trackpad and fixed it without updating the OS version? Magic Trackpad settings unavailable on Ventura for gestures I just bought a new magic trackpad and am trying to set it up. I can use it and it shows as connected in with the bluetooth, but I want to set up the scrolling and gesture options (such as three fingers to swipe between windows, etc.). The trackpad doesn't show in the settings and when I search for it, I receive the following message: "You can’t open the “Trackpad” settings pane because it is not available to you at this time." What do I do? I have a desktop that I just updated to Ventura 13.7.8.

Figured it out. You need to update to Sequoia 15.1.1. On reboot after system update, the magic trackpod gestures work.
