When I am trying to record my acoustic guitar through my Rode NT2A it picks up no sound other than the plectrum itself no notes just the plectrum, I have tried singing and it picks up vocals alright but cuts off on the quieter notes. I have tried using a SM57 to record but I have the same issue.

Make sure your Mac's Mic Mode is set to Standard. You can find the setting either in the top bar menu of your Mac when a Logic Window is active (orange Mic icon) or in the Control Center.

The mic mode is set to standard, and still no sound.
I have a 2019 MacBook Pro that’s running of an intel UHD Graphics 630 1536 MB. It’s macOS is Sonoma 14.4.1.
Logic is version 10.8.1
I went back and tried recording on a pre-existing project and this did work but went back to trying it on a new project, yet still nothing.
Logic not pickup up any sounds from an acoustic guitar being recorded by a microphone.
