Is there any way to toggle Bluetooth on and off from the control centre and keep it off without going into the Settings app?

I don't want iOS assuming I need Bluetooth on again in 24hours (or however long it thinks). If I toggle it on from control centre to listen to music in my car then off when I get home, I don't want it coming back on the next day when someone takes my car again and the phone automatically connects and starts playing the last thing I had on Spotify.

It's just wrong for iOS to automatically turn it back on again.

iOS only does what you tell it to do. The function of the control in Control Center is to turn BT off until the next day. It was specifically designed to do that. If that's not what you want to happen, use the way Apple has provided to turn it off until you want it back on by going to Settings>Bluetooth.

I suspect that, if you wanted to play around with it, you could create a Shortcut that would allow you to toggle BT from your Home Screen. It's not clear to me that would save you much time over going to Settings but it might work better for you.
