Why is my iPhone unable to determine if camera is a genuine part?

That message means either that
- Your phone has been repaired with parts not provided by Apple ("non-genuine parts"), or
- Your phone has Apple parts installed, but there is some problem preventing the phone from verifying that they are genuine Apple parts. (This may indicate a hardware problem.)
If you know that the camera is a genuine one, but you get the message anyway, that may be a indication that you should make an appointment to have Apple or an Apple Authorized Service Provider look at it.
