How to change phone number format back to Brazilian after removing USA eSIM?

I’m from Brazil and went to the USA last month, adding a second eSIM so I could use there. When I came back to Brazil, I deleted the USA eSIM and now whenever I dial a phone number it’s in the American format. I tried changing the language, changing the region to US and back to Brazil, and I’m still stuck with the American format.

Anyone knows how to fix this?

It’s terrible because Brazilians’ numbers have a very different format, so it’s confusing to dial like that.

Try Settings/Apps/Phone and make sure the Phone number field is correct, and fix it if it isn’t.

Also check in settings/general/device management & VPN and see if there is a leftover profile from your visit.

Try Settings/Apps/Phone and turn on Dial Assist.

What region is your iPhone set for? Have you added a Brazilian SIM card?

Now the region is set for Brazil. My Brazilian eSIM was always installed, I just added the USA eSIM to travel and deleted afterwards.

I’ve tried everything, changing the language, going back to Portuguese. Changing the region to US and back to Brazil, nothing solved my problem.
