Is the Up Next feature permanently removed from Apple TV?

Since the latest update to tvOS 18 the Up Next screen has disappeared. It was how I watched TV for the last few years. I would select a show and it would appear. I would watch an episode of a new show and it would disappear in the next episode was available. Of If I was streaming a series it would delete a watched episode and load the next one. Now it does non of that with Continue Watching screen having replaced Up Next. It is not fun at all. Does anyone know if this is a permanent thing? A glitch or a feature?
