Question About MacBook Air M3 Authenticity and Warranty

Hello,

I hope you’re doing well.

I’m looking to buy a MacBook Air M3 and found one being sold for much less than what authorized resellers offer. The seller claims it’s brand new, still sealed in the original box, and includes an Apple warranty. However, they’re not an official Apple reseller.

Could you help clarify: Is it possible for a product like this, if it’s a copy and not original, Additionally, are there ways I can verify the product’s authenticity and warranty before buying?

Verifying if this is a Genuine Mac:

  1. Get the Serial Number: Find your Mac Model Name and Serial Number - Apple Support
  2. Enter the Serial Number here: https://checkcoverage.apple.com/.
  3. View the Results: If all shows up as the same model, then you are fine. If not, then something is wrong here, and a red flag should be made, and that is likely why you are getting the issue of device coverage.

A Scam Sale:

If it seems too-good to be true, or is for charity, I’d consider questioning this. If not an AASP(Apple Authorized Service Provider), then that is most certainly something that a bring speculation. So,
