“AirPod Case Won’t Charge: My AirPods were dead so I charged them. The AirPods went to 100% but the case stays at 5%. The case will not charge but the AirPods will? I have cleaned the port and it’s not my charger as it’s the same one I use to charge my phone. No matter how long I charge them it stays at 5%. Any ideas?”

B. Try the Following Tasks:

• Hold Down the Button on the case for about 15 seconds.

• Use an Apple Brand Cable - not a third party one - cool though it may look, a fabric, third-part cable would likely tear - (Apple cable's are plastic and are intended for Apple)

• Remove the AirPod from the Case, then place it back in the charger. Perhaps it need to resync with he charger.
