I have this issue when the moment i hop into a call in app like discord, zoom, Gmeet etc, all the other apps audio will be sounds muffled, but the call audio itself will work flawlessly. It genuinely ruined the experience especially when I'm playing video game with my friend while in a discord call since I can’t hear anything in the game audio.

Presumably sounds from other Apps are fully muted when using Conferencing Apps. At this time, iPadOS does not support simultaneous audio from multiple sources.
Apple does invite submission of comments and feature requests via its Product Feedback portal. If you would like to see more control of audio sources in a future version of iPadOS, this would be the most appropriate channel through which to make your request:
