Has anyone attempted to enhance the use of the Magic Mouse?
The claw-like grip and its flat design have been rather troublesome for my wrist. I tried resting my palm flat on the surface to manoeuvre the mouse forwards, backwards, and sideways, only slightly raising my middle and index fingers for the clicks, actually clicking from the middle of my fingers. It’s not a bad method of using it, but it’s quite difficult to adjust after years of using bulkier mice.
Then, I purchased an enhancement for it, which made it a bit chunkier and raised the back by about 5-6 degrees. The bottom of the Magic Mouse is inclined inward, making it easy to lift when necessary, but the added "enhancement" has made that considerably more challenging—practically impossible, in fact.
Interestingly, there are two lenses in the Magic Mouse, positioned at roughly 90 degrees to one another, which allows it to accurately detect the surface. I’ve found that placing my pinky slightly underneath the mouse helps to hold it much more comfortably, and the lenses still capture the surface effectively. I’m just unsure if I could maintain that position continuously. I’m thinking whether to create a wedge to raise the back by about 10 degrees and slightly tilt it to the right.
Has anyone else tried any enhancements?
