Things change. You haven't really given any specifics other than "things changed." Yes, they did. They are not going to go back to the way they were, at least not in the near term and possibly never at all. So, you have two choices: ) sit around and be unhappy and complain or 2) learn to use the new version to the fullest. People here can help you with the second. I understand you’re trying to provide a solution, but buying an app for a better calculator when the phone comes with one isn’t the solution I’m looking for.

Again, two choices: 1) continue to use the built in calculator and be unhappy or 2) find one you like better.

If there’s no way of reverting back to before iOS 18 then unfortunately I don’t need/ or will be unable to seek a solution. I appreciate you taking the time to respond & try to provide solutions.

Yes, Apple has made some long-requested changes to Calculator. And, yes, some people don't like them. Other people do (The same can be said of the changes in Photos.) There are lots of third-party calculators out there if you don't like the built-in one. PCalc has been highly recommended. It's not free, but it's a one-time purchase.
