I updated my phone 18.1.1 and now I’m unable to receive SMS verification codes.

iPhone 17ProMax doesn't receive SMS verification codes? I just switched back to ATT from a different carrier and got the new iPhone17 ProMax. It doesn't receive SMS verification codes, making it impossible to sign in to banks, credit cards, or even rideshare apps. I've tried every single fix available online and spent hours on the phone with ATT tech support. Nothing has worked. Please help

SMS codes must come over cellular connection. VoIP and other internet and WiFi calling will not work.

VPN software must be turned off, software and profile deleted. Network settings may need to be reset too.
