Fixing a Boot Loop:

Your iPhone can but stuck in a Boot Loop. This typically occurs when you go about installing an update, and it stalls while in the process. Use my User Tip: How to Fix an iPhone in a Boot Loop - User Tip

Troubleshooting a Blacked-Out iPhone After an Update:

I. Use a Computer and Ethernet:

Start with attempting another update; this time, through use of a computer. If you cannot use Wi-Fi, then use Ethernet.  See my User Tip: Update your iPhone Using a Computer - User Tip. On the computer, you would connect it through Ethernet, going directly into your router. For a Mac (or PC) that does not have Ethernet, this would be the adapter to use: Belkin USB-C to Gigabit Ethernet Adapter - Apple. If you get the same error, the model is likely just not compatible.

No succes?...

II. Get your iPhone Serviced:

If you've had this issue since you've owned the iPhone, then it seem you have a faulty device. So, get the serviced, seeing if the solution all comes down to getting a new iSight Camera.

A. Take to an Appel store:

You'd setup a Genius Bar Appointment at your local Apple Store, taking it in for service. There, it will be diagnosed, and you'll be provided with your options.

Or...

B. Take this to an AASP:

See an AASP (Apple Authorized Service Provider) in your local area...

Contacting an AASP:

  1. Go Here: Find Locations - Apple Authorized Reseller
  2. Click: Service & Support
  3. Enter: your location information
  4. See: if there is an AASP nearby
  5. Contact: an AASP that shows up, and find out more about the services that they offer to fix the iPhone
