Message Delivery Issues after iOS 18.1.1 Update

iPhone 15. After update to iOS 18.1.1 texts won't deliver randomly, calls won't come through, internet browser works intermittently (Safari). I asked Apple Support for help. They had me hard reset the phone. Then the network settings. Then all the settings. Didn't work. Then my phone told me I was no longer signed in to Apple ID and iMessage. I got logged back into those but still the internet would only load pages randomly, some messages will go and some wont to both other iPhone and android users, and when my mom calls me from her iPhone the call drops and then she can't call back. Apple support had me run a device diagnostic which told them all was well. Then they signed off the chat as if that was it because the device is supposedly fine. Here for any ideas. I wish I could go back to 17.

Update: Problem solved after 3 more visits to the Verizon store techs who did the trade-in. Still glitchy issues with autocorrect (both off and on) while texting, but phone service restored, 'share location' restored, and I believe iClould has resumed updating. Techs didn't tell me what the exact issue was, but I believe it's related to the new native (non-removable) SIM 'card' that wasn't recognizing the new phone as my number. Here are some of the notifications I was receiving before the fix in case anyone else encounters the same thing:

'Cellular Plan No Longer Available Do you want to update the contacts that were using this line to use your "Primary" line?'

'Last Line No Longer Available Do you want to call using your remaining line?'

'iCloud updates paused' (with iCloud update setting ON)

I was also signed out of all apps that required passwords

Face ID did not recognize me

Could not use 'Share My Location'

I have been waiting 5 months for Apple Support to fix the issue with iMessage working properly. 5 MONTHS!!

I’ve had iMessages turn into sms text recently. Since the update I can’t text my husband just by clicking on previous text conversations. It now has decided to start sending my iMessages to his work land line or email that isn’t Apple. I have to type his iPhone number in then choose his number and not those other lines to send a message. Then after he has replied I still have to do the same thing because if I don’t it will send to his work email or landline, every time. I have his iPhone number listed as a favorite but it will still screw around with this. Didn’t have a problem till updated to 18.1.1.
