Apple tv zoom pan function not working

I cannot enable the pan function after I am in a zoom, Apple TV.

Apple TV 4K, tvOS 18

The GUI zoom uses (slow) swipe gestures on the clickpad or touch surface of the Siri Remote to pan.

It probably won’t work if you have deactivated the touch sensor in the clickpad on the remote (Click and Touch|Click only). Could that be it?

I can zoom in and out after I triple click. After I triple click and zoom, swipes only navigate the mouse to different icons. The screen does not pan when in zoom mode. The pan feature once worked but now it appears to have been deactivated som how.
