Apple Watch don’t work with my Subaru app

It appears the MySubaru iOS app update on 1/27/2025 has resolved the issue with MySubaru (Beta) Apple Watch synch. I am able to connect my iPhone and Watch on the first attempt. I suggest downloading the new MySubaru iOS app from the app store.

Have you updated both the Watch and the iPhone to the latest version of Subaru's app, updated about a month ago? If so, try removing it and reinstalling. If you continue to have problems, I'd suggest contacting Subaru for support.

I also suspect that Subaru's beta app doesn't work with watchOS 11.2. MySubaru on iPhone recognizes that the Watch is trying to connect, but when the Watch tries to synchronize, the error messages pop up. Subaru hasn't posted anything on their forums, and starting in early November, 100% of the user posts on multiple other forums say that synching doesn't work. No telling when Subaru's fix will be coming.

I just bought a new crosstrek and I also cannot get the MySubaru app on my watch to synch to my phone.

I’m unable to get the app to sync between my watch (Ultra) and iPhone 16 Pro Max. I continuously get the “That didn’t work -Please try again!” message.

iOS 18.2, WatchOS 11.2. Uninstalled, rebooted, reinstalled still won’t connect.

Same here. Was working, then reset my watch, now no longer works. May be a 11.2 thingy
