How can I activate my mac

Hi,

I forgot my login password and I tried to reset it. Trying to do the reset I logged in my Apple ID and showed “deactivate Mac” before I can input the new password.

i clicked on deactivate Mac and I inputted the new password and reconfirmed it again.

i restarted the system and it showed “Activate Mac”. I clicked on the admin user and also inputted the new password I created. Unfortunately, it never accepted the new password and I’m currently stocked, I can’t access my computer.

the only option it’s showing is to erase.
