Poor audio quality in iPhone 14 videos with iRig2 and DJ controller

I’m trying to record videos on my iphone14 connecting it to my Irig2 and my dj .

once the video is completed I play it back and the sound quality is extremely poor where connecting my dj controller to the irig2 through a lightning adapter to the iPhone according to YouTube the sound quality should be superb but believe me it’s not, the iPhones microphone pics up every sound around, dogs barking ,me breathing etc and with the music from my controller in the background it sounds rubbish.

does anyone have any remedies please, should I be using a different video recording software instead of the normal iPhone camera.

am I doing something wrong
