Rendering programs for MacBook Pro m4

I understand that an older OS called Big Sur, for which upgrades are available, is needed to run Autodesk software like Alias. The m4 uses Sequoia V15. How is it possible to upgrade an OS that an m4 does not have?

When will a MacBook version of the newest Blender arrive? Does the current version also require Big Sur like Autodesk?

No. The earliest macOS that can be installed on a Mac, is that which was preinstalled. Ask the developer for a compatibility chart to find out if this can be installed on your device.
