AirPods Pro 2 Disconnecting from account randomly

Just got AirPods pro 2 from someone else (they got new ones and i took theirs) and after unlinking them from their account by removing from find my and forgetting the device in bluetooth, we connected them to my phone. they work fine but around once every day after i disconnect them from my phone then when i next connect it they disappear from my find my and show as “Not your airpods pro” and don’t connect properly, i have to reset the airpods each time.

Getting AirPods to Stay Connected:

Go here, and see fi they are covered in AppleCare warranty. That would make them not be seen as your device: Find information about your warranty or AppleCare plan - Apple Support

Unpair These:

Note that AirPods not Assigned their own IP Addresses. As a result, that are only seen in Find My at the location of the device these are paired to. So, if this "someone" still has them paired to one of their devices, then they are being see in their Find My. So, have this "someone" unpair these.

Troubleshooting AirPods Apple ID Pairing:

Pair these with another device, and see if that fixes it all.

A. Disable a VPN:

Are you using a VPN connection? If so, the IP address can get in the way with syncing with Apple's server. So, disable the VPN, and then see fi it is seen.

B. Bluetooth:

Disable Bluetooth on all but one device — the one device you want to synchronize with these with. On an iPhone, if already enabled, the disabled, and then enable Bluetooth. See if it connects.

C. Some Links to Try:

Be certain you read these in full, as it mentioned different models....

D. Troubleshoot the Connection:

E. Verify the Balance:

  2. Tap: General
