How can I stop my Apple Watch from calculating effort?

I recently updated both my iOS on my phone and apple watch, and noticed that my workout summaries on my iPhone now include a section for "Effort." If I don't input the effort myself, it's calculating effort for me.


How do I disable this? I don't want effort to appear on my workout summaries at all. This is why I got an Apple Watch over a Garmin in the first place. I don't need it yelling at me that I'm not trying hard enough, making calculations on who know what factors.

Sorry, but this can not be removed from the workout summary at this time.

If you want Apple to change this, let them know directly about your wishes for future updates by using the Feedback link:
