Ever paid for a service for two years only to be denied when you needed it most? That’s me with AppleCare+."

"AppleCare+ failed me when I needed it most. I lost my iPhone 14 Pro, confirmed my policy was active, and even took a screenshot as proof. Hours later, my policy was mysteriously canceled. Apple admitted it might have been canceled by the thief but still denied my claim.

I’ve paid for this coverage for two years, and now Apple is leaving me out in the cold over a security flaw they could’ve prevented. No notification, no text, no resolution. This isn’t just my issue—I’ve seen others dealing with the same!

Apple, do better. Fix this for me and everyone else. #AppleCareFail #ConsumerRights"

You are not talking to Apple.

If you paid for AppleCare+ with theft and loss protection, Find My must be enabled on the device if it’s lost or stolen.

If it was disabled, either by you or by the thief when you fell victim to a phishing attack or they otherwise gained access to your account credentials, then it is not eligible for replacement under that policy.
