Files missing from folders on my MacBook Pro

when i open folders on my desktop all the stuff in them is missing or when i search for certain stuff they don’t show up

please help :,(

i already did shift, command, period, it did nothing

also my storage usage is the same

Files & Folders disappeared Today I realized that all my local folder and files are disappeared from. my MAC. I tried to search few of them but apparently they are disappeared...also my Desktop is completely empty (which is strange for me) and I can't find any files (used and modified few hours ago)....I really can't understand what happened...any advise?
