Cannot hear that there is an incoming call

Make sure that your ringtone on your AirPods is on via: Settings > Accessibility > AirPods. Once here, scroll down until you see a volume slider under the Tone Volume section.
I had the same issue.
On your iPhone or iPad, go to Settings
> Accessibility > Audio & Visual > Headphone Accommodations, then
turn off Headphone Accommodations.
If you did hearing test and you have turn
on hearing aid, please turn it off too
then put your airpods into the case and put
them on again.

This is a known issue and there are many messages like this, unfortunately it seems like a problem with the latest firmware!

Maybe looking in wrong place, but I could not find a tone section. I’m running 18.1.1 version and the AirPods are Pro 2. I’m using as hearing aids and for playing audio.
