iMessage is synced with iCloud, if i delete attachments locally on my Mac, will it sync/delete from iCloud too?
When i first setup my Mac, it downloaded all of my messages to my Mac building up 63 gb of data. I turned on iCloud (like i do on my iPhone and iPad) but the attachments are still taking space on my Mac. After struggling to figure out why they are still there, I assume that the attachments are storage locally only at this point and they can still be accessed by searching my messages and downloading again (if they were deleted locally).
So..to feel some relief, if I deleted the attachments locally (delete the attachments folder basically), it won't communicate that to iCloud and lose everything, right?
