Unable to purchase an app is not compatible with this iPad

I cannot download any apps off of the App Store onto my iPad 2 it keeps giving me an error that says unable to purchase that app is not compatible with this iPad. How can I fix it

That message is correct. Very few, if any, applications are still compatible with an iPad 2.
