Requesting a recycle kit for an old iMac

I just purchased a new iMac and i would like to recycle my old one. I didn't select the recycle option when I purchased it. Is there anyway to request a recycle kit after the fact.

Recycle kits are sent only to those who trade in an olde device.

Many local retailers will recycle e-waste. For example Staples and OfficeMax both accept drop off of old tech for recycling. Check for other e-waste recyclers in your area.

You will want to wipe the drive, but you don't have to reinstall an OS if your plan is to simply recycle.
