All of my files and folders say "Waiting to Update" and I get a pinwheel of death trying to open or close files.

I cannot access hard drive due to "waiting for update" I am at work and will get fired, help!

Why do all the files and folders say "Waiting to Update" and refuse to work! (pinwheel of death, spins at first for a moment then just hangs for a while, does nothing and then returns as nothing happened on every file Open or Save)

I am held hostage and cannot use my computer at work, it is connected to the internet as I am placing this ticket... so I do NOT understand. Is there an Apple OS that is made for business so we can use our docs offline and not have this happen?

I want to make it very clear, the files and folders I am talking about are marked "Keep Downloaded" AND I am connected to the internet and making this message, nothing works!
