Why aren't my Magic Trackpad Gestures working?

I just purchased a new Magic Trackpad to use with my MacBook Pro 2016 when I have it connected to my monitor. All I can get it to do is move the cursor and click. It will not perform gestures. In my settings, everything is on and the trackpad on my MacBook performs all gestures. Is there something else I need to do to configure these settings for my Magic Trackpad?

I can use it and it shows as connected in with the bluetooth, but I want to set up the scrolling and gesture options (such as three fingers to swipe between windows, etc.). Unable to perform gestures on Magic TrackPad Recently purchased a magic trackpad, but am unable to scroll or perform any other gestures on it. However am able to click using the trackpad. Currently on Sonoma 14.7.1 (M3 Chip) and unable to update to the latest version as the updates are controlled by my org. Faced a similar issue when connected to my personal mac(Intel Chip). However, I was able to upgrade to the latest version after which I am able to perform all the gestures using my trackpad. Seems like a similar issue to this - Magic Trackpad 1st generation not working… - Apple Community Has anyone faced similar issue with the magic trackpad and fixed it without updating the OS version? External Magic Trackpad do not scroll with Two-Finger-Gesture Hi, I have bought a Magic Trackpad. I can scroll with the two-finger gesture on my MacBook Pro but not on the Magic Trackpad. Are there special settings for the external Magic Trackpad? Best regards
