I’m referring to that little gift card thing in my Apple wallet, I put 30 bucks into it thinking that it was Apple Pay, now it won’t let me transfer the money out or anything. I’m just stuck with 30 bucks Apple Store credit that I won’t use.

Apple Pay is not an account. You cannot deposit funds in Apple Pay. I think you’re confusing Apple Pay with Apple Cash.
Please contact Apple Support and request the transfer be reversed. Funds will be returned to the originating account. Once funds are available, you may transfer them to your Apple Cash account.

Apple Cash is not Apple Pay, it can be used with Apple Pay to make purchases in store and website that support Apple Pay.
