How To Speak With A Real Person At Apple?

Using iPhone 12 Pro Max with no other device available I wish to dispute the latest charge on Apple Pay for what is supposed to be a free trial.

I ask support to call but the callback goes straight to voicemail and the Robot ignores if I click anything!

Often when I call someone in my family, their iPhone 15 goes straight to voicemail. Often when I call someone in my family, their iPhone 15 goes straight to voicemail. I've asked them to do a restart on the iphone 15. this makes the problem go away for a short time then the issue resurface. They have just upgraded to iOs 17.7 and I said ok turn off the phone now. and turn it back on. I called and it didnt go to voicemail this time. They dont use any of those 'focus' silence modes. The cell phone service isnt spotty in their house.

It will go to voicemail if you have Silence Unknown Callers in Settings/apps/phone.

There are other possibilities also→Why doesn’t my phone ring? - Apple Community, but the above is the most common.

I have that off. I suppose their number if I knew it could have somehow got into blocked callers but I doubt that, besides it doesn’t explain why the robot ignores the buttons it asks for. Fortunately I remembered I had listed an 800 number for them in my Contacts. So I called.
