Password sync between iPhone 15 Plus and iPad Pro 5th Gen

iPhone 15 plus and IPad Pro 5th gen. Do passwords automatically sync or do I have to manually have to enter updated passwords.

This is for password that I Updated on phone but questioning if it will sync to iPad….

For your saved Passwords to automatically synchronise between devices, both your iPhone and iPad must be signed-in to iCloud with the same AppleID (now known as your Apple Account). Ensure that you have enabled iCloud Passwords and Keychain on both devices.


iOS/iPadOS 17 and earlier:

Settings > [Your Name / AppleID] > iCloud > Passwords & Keychain > Sync this iPad | iPhone - set to ON


iOS/iPadOS 18:

Settings > [Your Name / Apple Account] > iCloud > Passwords > Sync this iPad | iPhone - set to ON
